The times that the stock buttons are pressed and released are programmable in steps of seconds, hundreds of milliseconds, and tens of milliseconds. The user can configure the timing sequences of all sub-modes except for the first which is a “simple remap” of the stock button.The Macro Remap functionality has 5 sub-modes.There are no multiple actions on the same key (macro button) possible. Only one stock controller button at a time can be assigned to each macro button and be further configured to perform a sequence.It can be utilized in any gaming title out there to help the user become a better player and get an edge over an opponent. The Macro Remap is not a game-specific feature. The process is quick and easy and done through the stock and macro buttons on the fly. There are no additional apps required to configure the macro buttons.
Macros are set up on additional ergonomic buttons (Mega Modz Macro Buttons) located on the back of the controller. Macros are sequences of events, such as stock button clicks and delays that can be played back to help with repetitive tasks. Macro Remap is a new functionality available on PS4 and PS5 Controllers that lets the user utilize repeatable and continued stock button presses in the game via simple macros.
